Refund Policy
Eternal General Service Foundation is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. Eternal General Service Foundation expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Eternal General Service Foundation also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously, or donors may change their mind. Eternal General Service Foundation may also consider that a donation is refunded even if not requested by the donor but was essential to be refunded to ensure compliance with provisions of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act ("FCRA Act"), as amended from time to time.
Eternal General Service Foundation will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavours to make the refund. Eternal General Service Foundation may also seek further information / documents and donors must co-operate in this regard.
However, Eternal General Service Foundation is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
If you would like your donation to Eternal General Service Foundation to be refunded:

You must request Eternal General Service Foundation in writing or by email for a refund at contact@eternalfoundation.com / support@eternalfoundation.com and your request must reach Eternal General Service Foundation within 7 (Seven) working days within the same financial year from the date on which you made the online transfer of the donation.

The request stating reason for requesting refund must be sent and must contain all the following details pertaining to the donation: 1) Date of Donation, 2) Donation amount, 3) Receipt ID and transaction reference number for donations made online 4) Photocopy of PAN card

All donation refund would only be made in the name of the person who has made the donation.

Certain types of donations may be non-refundable. This includes donations made towards specific projects, campaigns, or events where it is explicitly stated that the donation is non-refundable.

Eternal General Service Foundation shall refund the donated amount if it is not utilized for the purpose for which the donation was made.

The decision to refund will be made by the finance team on review of the application. All decisions of Eternal General Service Foundation in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.

The refund process may take time from 7 to 30 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment gateway, banks, etc. through which the transaction is done.

Eternal General Service Foundation reserves the right to modify or amend this refund policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our official website.
